We take every problem back to what’s fundamentally true about it, in physics, mathematics, sound and the way people play, and reason up from there. Each design starts from the problem itself, so it can go wherever the problem leads.

Imagination sets the direction for everything we make. We picture each product at its best, from how it looks, sounds and feels to what people will create and discover with it, and engineer it to live up to that vision.

Then we imagine the complete solution and engineer it properly, so it’s tested, dependable and built to last.

Senior engineers, start to finish.
Our founder, Stephen Ankelen, is a hands-on technical director and senior developer with more than 30 years’ experience building production software. His background includes enterprise software engineering for aerospace, extensive work integrating AI into real-world systems, and a long history in music technology and audio engineering. He continues to design and code our products himself, as part of a team of experienced senior developers. Together, we take full ownership of every stage, from the first idea through to release, so each product is shaped by engineers who understand both advanced AI and the demands of professional audio.
